Haha! Sweet :) I love it.
Well, not sure I would reduce spirituality as a practice aiming to ‘understand’ something. Spirituality, at its core, tries to develop the non-dual and direct experience beyond mental limitations (maps). In your words: ‘enjoy the countryside’ :). Hence why I point to the so called spirituality that pretends to ‘explain’ the ultimate nature of everything, or at least map it, to make it intellectually coherent, and even worse, by using the latest scientific maps to ‘prove’ it. Not just as metaphors, but as actual causal descriptions of the car, its processes, the driver, etc. Quantum physics just adds a pinch of randomness to explain that actually, nope, no randomness exists, but consciousness does the job. So there we go, we have introducted another causal agent: not a cog like in Newtonian physics, but you as a free will. Meanwhile, enjoy the countryside.
